It is highly recommended that you write your text content in a word processor like Microsoft Word, setting font styles like bold, italics, color, etc, setting the positions and paragraphs and other specifics and making use of the spell checker. Do not add images to this document, inserting images come later. Save your document as a backup for your website content..

Create and size any images to appear on this page in a graphics editor and save them to a folder where you can easily find them when it’s time to upload them.
See the instructional file ‘Inserting Images into web pages.doc’

In the Admin of your website, click ‘Tools’, then “Define Pages Editor”

Select the page to edit using the Text Editor, FCK Editor.
You can copy & paste your text content from Microsoft Word right into this editor.
You can compose your content wholly in the editor as it includes most of the same features as Microsoft Word and other common word processing programs. Explore the buttons in the editor to familiarize yourself with its features. You’ll find buttons for bold, italics, underline, bulleted lists, links, insert image, text color and many more tools to help you make your web pages look nice and dynamic.

If you haven’t worked with tables in Microsoft Word before, it’s worth taking some time to familiarize yourself with this tool as it can really help organize web page content and dress up your site.

If you’re familiar with Microsoft Word, you’ll have no trouble with this editor.
Otherwise, it just takes some practice and experimentation to become proficient with it. Hint: Get to know the word processing program on your own computer (like Microsoft Word, WordPad, etc) by using the help files. Almost everything you can do in a word processing program can be done the same way in this editor.
